Role Overview

As an Electrician in this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to clients. Projects will vary, with responsibilities spanning the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems—including fault finding, breakdown response, and specialist work on security, CCTV, alarms, and telecommunications equipment.

You will contribute to a culture of professionalism, client focus, and continuous improvement, joining a team that values both technical expertise and a proactive, solution-driven attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within commercial and industrial settings.

  • Diagnose electrical faults, provide swift repairs, and manage emergency breakdowns.

  • Carry out work on security systems, CCTV, alarms, and telecommunications.

  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and implement electrical work.

  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and relevant electrical codes at all times.

  • Work independently and collaboratively, liaising with other trades to complete projects efficiently.

  • Keep thorough and accurate records of all work, materials, and time invested.

  • Deliver exemplary customer service, communicating effectively with clients regarding their electrical needs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Significant experience as an electrician (minimum 5 years), preferably in commercial/industrial environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, relevant standards, wiring methods, and advanced fault-finding.

  • Competence with the full range of hand and power tools relevant to the trade.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and pride in workmanship.

  • Capable of working autonomously or as part of a team.

  • Relevant UK electrical qualifications/certification (essential).

  • Full UK Driving Licence (required; work is site-based/on the road).
